唯美的歐式古典油畫繪本。貝兒的父親不小心闖進(jìn)了野獸的領(lǐng)地，被囚禁在野獸的城堡里。為了救出父親，貝兒只身犯險(xiǎn)，答應(yīng)與野獸同居于古堡并以此換回父親。然而，貝兒因?yàn)橐恍南肽钪赣H，所以生活的并不愉快。

貝兒找到機(jī)會(huì)逃走，可是卻遇到了兇狠的狼群。危難關(guān)頭，野獸及時(shí)出現(xiàn)解救了貝兒，自己卻受了傷，貝兒心存感動(dòng)，細(xì)心照顧野獸。此后，加斯頓因?yàn)樽非筘悆菏?，而設(shè)計(jì)讓村民一起殺死野獸。

貝兒傷心的親吻了死去的野獸。而野獸則因?yàn)檫@個(gè)吻，解除了自己的詛咒，重新復(fù)活并變回了原來的人性。
