Izzy Gizmo Summary
 
Izzy Gizmo loves to invent so she carries a tool box everywhere in case she can fix or improve machines. Unfortunately, her tweaks lead to malfunctions. She invented a tea maker, that worked, until it broke. She invented a machine to help you eat spaghetti but ripped the wallpaper to shreds. The beard styler went wild and overflowed foam. When things went wrong, Izzy struggled to hold her temper. She would kick her inventions and quit. While she was huffing, she went for a walk outside and a bird fell out of the sky. She took it to the vet but he said the bird would never fly again. She tried to teach the crow things it could do on the ground but it still missed flying. With Grandpas encouragement, Izzy decided to make the bird new wings. She researched and worked and built and... it didn't work. Grandpa encourage her to try again. Again, Izzy found parts and tinkered and built and... it made the crow fly upside down. She wanted to give up but she gave it another try. Everything was perfect... except one wing went faster than the other. She tried to throw the whole thing away but the crow stopped her. Together they tried again. This time it worked! Izzy decided to name the crow Fixer and Fixer could fly again. Now, Izzy just has to fix all the things she broke along the way.
